Javier Edgardo Cámpora (born 7 January 1980 in Rosario) is an Argentine Footballer who recently played for Veria of the Superleague Greece. == Career == He is a striker who has played professional football in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Mexico and Aris Thessaloniki FC in Greece. Cámpora's most notable achievement to date, was becoming the top scorer in the Apertura 2005 tournament of the Argentine Primera. He scored 13 goals despite the fact that Tiro Federal finished 19th and was relegated to Primera B Nacional. In 21, January 2009 he transferred to Aris Thessaloniki F.C. signing 1 and a half years contract. After 9 games in Super League Greece (season 2008–09) he achieved to score 5 times. After having bad times with Aris F.C former coach, Iomar Mazinho, he finally found his position on the team with the coming of Héctor Cúper. He has scored 11 times in 26 games at the Greek Superleague, one for the cup 2008–09 and two for the Greek Cup (season 2009–2010).On April 2010 he signed a two years contract with Aris F.C but unexpectidly two months later he left from the club for personal reasons. One month later he signed on Chilian giants Colo-Colo but he failed to become a part of the team although he scored 4 goals on 13 matches.
